Where Learning Feels Like Bliss
At Bliss Child Care, we believe children learn best through play, exploration, and time outdoors. Our outdoor classroom is an extension of our indoor environment, giving children space to move, discover, create, and connect with nature.
Through intentional indoor and outdoor experiences, we nurture curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning. We welcome children with varying developmental needs, including children on the autism spectrum and children with developmental delays, when their needs can be safely and appropriately supported within a family child care setting.

Tonya holds a California Associate Teacher Credential, has specialized infant-toddler training through PITC, and participates in FCCHEN, a quality-focused family child care program that promotes high standards in the learning environment, caregiving practices, and overall program quality.

Indoor-Outdoor Classroom
Our indoor and outdoor spaces work together as one classroom, thoughtfully designed for exploration, movement, creativity, and hands-on learning. Children have opportunities throughout the day to discover, make choices, and learn through play.
Our Daily Rhythm
Our daily rhythm is thoughtfully planned around intentional, play-based learning with a purpose. Weekly themes, hands-on experiences, and developmentally appropriate activities support each area of a child's growth while allowing every child to be nurtured individually within our mixed-age group setting through responsive caregiving and meaningful relationships.
Safety Standards
As a licensed family childcare home, health and safety are a priority in everything we do. We maintain clean, well-prepared environments, follow established health and safety protocols, practice emergency preparedness, and provide attentive supervision throughout the day.

Social-Emotional Development
Social-emotional development begins at birth and is intentionally woven throughout each day at Bliss. Through nurturing, responsive relationships, infants and young children build trust, confidence, emotional awareness, self-regulation, and positive relationships with others.
Both indoors and outdoors, experiences may include yoga, mindfulness, breathing, movement, conversation, and opportunities to recognize feelings, solve problems, and build coping skills.
