About Tonya
A passionate early childhood professional, consultant, speaker, and advocate dedicated to inspiring excellence in childcare — one provider, one family, and one community at a time.
My Journey
Since 1990, Tonya Muhammad has been on a mission to elevate the standard of care in early childhood education. What began as Bliss Family Child Care — a warm, home-based program built on trust, consistency, and genuine love for children — has grown into a multi-faceted brand serving providers, educators, families, and organizations across the country.
Through Daycare Chronicles 101 Consulting, Inc., Tonya supports daycare owners, aspiring childcare entrepreneurs, and early childhood educators with practical coaching rooted in real-world experience. She understands the daily realities of running a program — licensing, staffing, curriculum, parent communication, compliance, and business growth — because she has lived them for more than three decades.
Today, Tonya is recognized as a trusted voice in the daycare and early learning space: a consultant, keynote speaker, workshop facilitator, podcast host, and brand partner who brings warmth, credibility, and actionable guidance to every conversation.
